[SMCARA] Mic switch

Why 8 poles? Typically all you need is Receive Audio, Transmit Audio,
PTT, and Ground. You will notice in the SLUSB there are 8 jumpers, but
not the lines all are needed. I built a switch into my console using a
3PDT toggle and it works fine. The other lines are up/down tuning, 8
volts (or so), squelch, and perhaps discriminator out (used for 9600
baud packet-n/a here). Hard wire those from mic jack to radio plug and
switch the RXA, TXA, and PTT lines only.
Plan B: Take an old serial port or printer port switch and use it. Just
wire up some DB-25/DB-9 plugs for the needed lines. A few minutes with
a VOM will identify the pins to use or Google RS-232 pin definitions.
I'm leaving in the morning for a trip, but will look to see if I have a
toggle switch lurking in the junk box.
