This weekend brings the first of 6 NAQP contests for the year. Times (for
Jan/Feb NAQPs are 2 PM to 2 AM - EST)

If you've ever thought about contesting, these are great little contests to
use to see what its all about without being overwhelmed. If you put in 4 or
5 hours, you should easily make 100-150 contacts or more QSOs (no implied
guarantee).

Today is the CW flavor of the contest, but next weekend is the SSB version.

This is a very easy and short contest - Everyone is limited to 100 watts, so
you won't have to fight off the big-guns. You operate no more than 10 out
of the 12 hours.

If you use any spotting assistance (like DX cluster, ect.) you'll be
classified as a multi-op station - There is no such thing as Single-Operator
Assisted in this (and most other contests).

You're logs are due back to the organizers NLT 7 days after the contest, so
don't delay on submitting it after the contest.

For future planning - here's the scheduled NAQPs for the year.
