Pete, Tom, and All.

I agree with you gentlemen.  I see us as a social or general amateur 
radio group, and in no way would I want to make changes to that.  I 
think we support the community as we need to and everyone enjoys the way 
things are right now.  I only bring this up because the Section Manager 
asked what the main purpose of our club was.  If we had a main purpose 
he wished to talk to that subject.  When he asked me this question, I 
really couldn't answer, because we don't concentrate on one item or a 
major subject.  Myself and I think most members enjoy the fact that we 
have a diverse interest within the club.  I think I will recommend he 
talk to us as more of an open forum.  This will allow him to talk to 
current events and major things coming up in our section, and allow 
members to ask what ever they may want to know about.
