Hi Dan,

Here's a good source for Cluster Commands...

Subject: [SMCARA] Logging Software

Good Morning All,

So while out on travel I have been working on my Java based logging software
which will be primarily for those who decide to run Linux as their primary
operating system and want a feature packed logbook like Ham Radio Deluxe.
But being I am writing the software in Java it will work on windows as well.

I have the database interface setup to allow multiple operators to use the
software and I have made it easy to switch between their logs. I have the
QRZ callsign lookup working and I just finished the telnet client module to
allow DX Spotting functionality. I connected the client to a few DX Clusters
but I don't know the commands well enough to be efficient at filtering.

Does anyone know of a site or document that defines the filtering commands
for the DX Spotting network? or at least the most commonly used commands?

Now that I have the ability to connect and receive spots I am working on the
GUI portion to make it usable rather than just giving the user a terminal
like screen.

Once the DX Spotting portion is done I will be working on rig control module
but this is going to take a bit to complete because I have to re-learn JNI
(Java Native Interface) which will allow me to use a Shared Object (Linux
equivalent to a Windows DLL) or a Windows DLL written in C
++ to manage the serial connection to a rig so that the logging software
will be able to communicate with the connected rig.

Once I get these basic modules complete I will make the software available
for those who wish to play along in a round of Alpha Testing.

Have Fun!
