Nice photos. I liked the one of your daughter at the vent manifold. Open those vents and crank in a little down on the bow planes and "submerge"!  My guess is that the vents are welded closed.

Come see us down here in the "country"! BTW I served in USS Tench (SS-417), the class boat, for a while, before I saw the light and went Naval Air!
