Howdy all,

I wanted to send out a big public Thank You to Dr. Rob (K3RWR) for doing 
surgery on my 30+ year old Kenwood TS-430S. Some of you may remember 
that I lost all transmit power in the radio a while ago and thought I'd 
have to box her up and send it to a fix-it shop, for who knows how much 
time and money. Thanks to a video on YouTube I was pretty confident that 
I had figured out the problem and the fix but lacked the skills to do 
the repair. Rob performed the surgery and I'm pleased to announce that 
the old girl just received a 58 signal report from the World Dragon Boat 
Championship special event in Ontario (7.263 at 4pm). I'm tickled to 
finally be back on the air! Thanks Rob!
