Hi All, 
Here is my two cents.First let us not do idea bashing but try to find a common ground to accomplish as much as  we can.As a manager, I would delegate the repeater refurbishment to the the repeater team. i.e. Tom and et. a.l
Also we could have a special meeting to focus on the up coming ham fest with its sub parts prior to 8/27/2015Many of us have some good ideas and these can be brought out in the special meeting "ham fest meeting"We could have a list of new hams from  Eric and we can try to tap this large source of new amateurs to see whom would be up to accomplishing items on the list of tasks. Call them on the telephone and twist arms!
I know that if you have an idea it is yours to make it happen.I volunteer to help out. A successful ham fest means lots of volunteers.Kind regards to allde W3GYT Walt

With regards to the October tailgate fest, the following hardware items have
been proposed for auction:

ICOM IC-7200 ($800)
YAESU FT-817ND ($660)
ICOM ID-51A PLUS ($400)
ICOM IC-718 ($600)

A suggestion has also been made to have other secondary auction prizes:
100 Foot length of low loss coax with connectors (AJ, could you provide a
quote for the club?)
Antenna tuner
Mobile 2M/440 antenna.

Please give it some thought and provide your input.  

Do I have any volunteers on organizing this event?
