Hi Dan,

I had a brainwave on the way home from last week's meeting.

Harry mentioned that he would be willing to give a talk to the club about his approach to diet and homespun medications.  I think that would be a great idea and that we should push it as a "Wife/xyl Friendly" event and encourage everyone to bring their wife, girlfriend or sig other!  We could even throw all caution to the wind and have refreshments! Maybe a potluck dessert and coffee sort of thing.  You know, all the stuff Harry will warn us not to eat!

Harry presented a session at our house for some ladies a while back on making sauerkraut.  It was a blast!  He's fun to listen to and knows his stuff!

He is not an "ultracrepidarian"*, like some you occasionally hear on the repeaters (not ours, of course!) now and then!

Last night as a last minute idea Jim and I (thanks to Rob - K3RWR) were able to raffle off an 80m SoftRock Lite II SDR kit to the winner of the night Handsome Harry - WA3CCL.

I (again thanks to Rob - K3RWR) have one more kit to offer up as a door prize for next weeks Tuesday Night Net. This kit is an "Updated" 30m SoftRock Lite II kit.

Your check-in and willingness to stay tuned into the net until the end of the net is your raffle ticket. Your ticket number is the order in which you checked into the net. At the end of the net I will enter the total number of check-ins into the random.org website and have the website pick a random number. The generated number matched to the check-in order determines the winner.

Have Fun and hope to hear everyone on the air next Tuesday evening at 8:30pm on the K3HKI repeater.
