[SMCARA] Thanks Grant!

Evening all,

I wanted to publicly thank Grant for arranging the camping weekend at 
Westmoreland State Park. The weather didn't play so nice but we can't 
blame him for that! It was fun to see the stuff that everyone brought 
and to show off my own redneck creation. My daughter and I enjoyed 
exploring the park (and ice cream every day!) and the good company of 
like minded folks. We plan to go back for some family camping so we have 
time to hunt for shark's teeth and check out the rest of the trails. I 
was impressed with how tidy the park was and how nice the staff was that 
we met. If you've never been to the park it's an easy drive from St. 
Mary's and well worth the drive. The best part was snagging an 
Australian special event station Saturday evening just before dark. On 
10M with only 25w and a cheesy wire dipole. I don't know what we'd build 
next year but if the event is repeated we're game to participate.
