Sure does Chris,
You can put in a 3-way switch and switch your antenna to upstairs, downstairs and outdoors if you want.
Just make sure the switch is rated for VHF. Some of the cheaper switches are only good for HF.

Subject: [SMCARA] Does it work backwards?
I'm hoping someone can help me with an answer... I have an outdoor 2M
J-pole that I use with my HT in the house, I'd also like to be able to sit
outside when it's nice with the HT but the rubber duck is inadequate on
it's own. I've seen antenna switches for one radio->multiple antennas and
was wondering if they will work in reverse? I do NOT need to run multiple
HT's, I just want to be able to flip the switch and take the HT and connect
to a second run of coax outside. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Chris - KC3DIG
