[SMCARA] Contest Software

Hi Jason,

I use Writelog (https://writelog.com/) which supports every contest and mode that I work and a whole bunch that I don't. It includes CAT control and telnet to interface with spotting networks. It will also control most accessories, such as rotators, micro-ham interfaces, soundcards (like SignaLink), and keyers (like K1EL). There is a cost to purchase and upgrade (yearly).

Another program that has all of these features, and is free, but a bit more difficult to use, is N1MM (http://n1mm.hamdocs.com/tiki-index.php).

If you're just looking for just a basic logger without bells and whistles, GenLog is pretty good (http://www.qsl.net/w3km/).

I know you're already a member, but anyone else interested in contesting, The local PVRC chapter (http://pvrc.org/) meets on the last Wednesday of each month at Nicolletti's in California, MD.

Subject: [SMCARA] Contest Software

Hello all. I am wondering what contest software people are using? I have used CT and TRlog in the past, but would like to know what’s new and setup to work most of the contests. Thanks for your responses in advance.
