Congrats Jason, WAS is a very fine accomplishment!

Have you considered working the Triple Play Award?

	  BODY { font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12px; }
I started back on the Amateur Radio and the HF bands back in March of this
year. I has been great to get back into Ham radio again, and I have really
enjoyed see old Ham friends and meeting so many new ones.
When I got back on I set a two goals for myself that I had not reached years
ago when I first got into the hobby. One being get my DXCC award, and two
was to get Worked All States. After working several WV stations last week,
one of them finally confirmed in LOTW this morning. I was very close to WAS
CW only back in 1997-2002 time frame, but feel short before I drifted fom
our hobby. I know it is not a huge deal, but I am very happy that I put in
for my WAS Basic today. I think the coolest thing was I started from
scratch since getting back on the air on March 25. After taking the end of
June through mid August off the HF bands, and working March thru June out of
my mobile, that leaves me with about 5 1/2 months air time. I think that
was pretty good, to pick up WAS. Now if I could just get four more DXCC
countries to confirm out of the 155 or so I have worked, I would be really
please.

Last but not least, I want to thank all those that have given me
advice and elmering over the last several months. Being out of radio for 12
years, you all helped get me back up to speed and learn the new digital
modes and interfaces.
	Best 73's to all
