[SMCARA] RTTY On FTdx-3000

It is possible to transmit "upside down" and there should be a software function (TX Reverse?) to compensate for the use of either USB or LSB. I suspect if you are copying RTTY, you should be transmitting "right side up". Another factor is Wide shift (850 Hz) or narrow shift (170 or 200 Hz). Again if you are copying OK, then the baud rate is probably OK too for Tx. I am not familiar enough with DM780 to tell if you can decouple Tx and Rx parameters.

Bill,

I have also run into those using LSB for RTTY. It surprised me a bit then I found this forum posting:

Hope this helps.
