[SMCARA] Corrosion in a female N connector

All,

I mounted a multi position coax switch inside an open ended can up on my
tower. After several years it came down with green corrosion inside the
unused N female connectors (I should have capped them).

I discovered that a Q tip stick (the cardboard stick without the cotton) in
a Dremel tool would fit between the center conductor and the connector walls
and it did a great job of polishing the inside walls of the connectors back
to bright silver again. I did have to blow out some "cardboard lint" when I
was done.

I used a small brass brush (again in the Dremel) to clean corrosion off the
threads on the outside of the connectors.

Just passing this along in hopes someone else might need to clean up a
moderately corroded N female.
