As long as you guys had fun.  I made a contact with NHK in the first hour,
when you were running a frequency on 20M.  You had a great sounding signal
here.  I suspect that the tribander at the museum is more resonant in the
phone portion of the band and in the digi/cw portion the resonance is
probably in excess of 3:1.

 

As you can see from my summary 20 and 40 were my money bands, and 80 was
fairly active as well.  I checked 15, but there was hardly any activity
there.  Never bothered with 10.

 

To be honest, I was concerned that NHK was going to embarrass me, so I put a
little more effort in that I usually would have.  

 

I had told Tammy that I was going to be at 11, but at 11 I was at 197
contacts, so I added a few more just to make it an even 200.

We made about ten contacts, then we segued into detailed discussions about
digital modes in general.

It may be worth our while to run an antenna analyzer on the beam.  It wasn't
always resonate where it should have been.
