I have received hits on several days from CN8LI in Rabat, Morocco on 6M WSPR around 21Z. This is with 7 watts to a PAR OmniAngle (halo) antenna up 30 feet. Turn your beams E/NE and see what happens on the DX calling freq (50.110). 6M WSPR is on 50.293.

When the band is open I get hits from Quebec, Florida, Georgia. North/South prop seems to be more common than E-W. I occasionally get hits from So California, north of San Diego, near Camp Pendleton.

Southern MD to Morocco is a haul!

Go to: http://wsprnet.org/drupal/wsprnet/map Enter 6M, last 24 hours for the whole picture. Enter w4okw in callsign block to see who is hearing me.

SIx meters (50 MHz) is very active today. Communications between our area and the entire Continental US are possible (and the Caribbean)
