Afternoon everyone.  This is addressed more to the new to hf types.  
Wondering what bands are open.  The best way to find out other than 
hopping on and calling CQ is by checking HF propagation and solar 
weather.  We aren’t getting into it here (black magic voodoo stuff) but 
a good place to get a over all check is at

a few websites but this is the source.  You can even install the widgets 
on your webpage if you have one.
