Thanks to Jason (N3YUG) who gave me the idea to call Gerald Gardiner our
county emergency coordinator. I did indeed call him and left him a message
informing him that the Amateur Radio community here in St. Mary's County is
absolutely interested and I gave him my number and told him to please call
if there was something I can do to help this process along. I also inquired
about CERT training dates. For those interested in CERT I will forward
information as soon as I get it.
