Ahead of the ARRL MDC Section wide S.E.T. (Simulated Emergency Test)
running October 4th and 5th, Ray (KB3FWW) would like us to run a dress
rehearsal on the 21st of September. He is asking that for at least two
individuals to setup at each of the firehouses throughout St. Mary's County
starting at 10am. Once everyone is in place the net should not last more
than an hour. For setup operators are going to need to supply all of the
gear required for this test including power, antennas, coax and
transceivers. We will be using 146.490 MHz simplex for the test.
I am suggesting a lunch get together afterwards.
