Dan, I'd be happy to help out in this endeavor. My problem is that I'm away
most of the winter, but would be available some of the school year: Sept -
Nov and Apr - June.
Just let me know when and where you need me.

Thanks Gary and Tom for you responses.
I have already contacted the Principal of Oakville Elementary in
Mechanicsville to see if the school would be interested in such a capability
and he has responded in the affirmative and he is helping me in getting the
information required to develop such a program. I figured that the club
would need more information so I am doing my due diligence and getting all
the ducks in a row for a proper presentation. If we are successful in one or
two schools then we should peek the interest of the others.
I am pushing something like this because I am also trying to find ways to
involve the Club in the community outside of our normal events. Getting us
known throughout the community will help us grow. There is an item or two on
the fire that we should be ready to present to the club soon enough.
As always HAVE FUN!

Amateur Radio has something for everyone. Even if it is just peace of mind
that no matter what happens your message will get through.
