[SMCARA] Any buddipole users?

I think the Mini Buddistick is a great option for portable operation.  It is a scaled down version of the Buddipole Deluxe, but does a great job.  Not as configurable as the Deluxe, it is just a vertical that can be adjusted for different HF bands.  Very compact and lightweight package.
 
I constructed a homebrew version of the buddistick, with 20m and 40m coils.  I have had terrific results.  In my last trip to Colombia, South America I took a radio backpack (another adventure in itself).  From Colombia with the homebrew buddistick I was able to contact Iceland, Italy, Russia, Netherlands, USA, Canada, Panama, Spain... and a few others.  I normally operated at about 25watts.
