All,
We had a good showing at both of last Saturday's test sessions. There were 9 new Technicians and 2 Generals as a result of both exams.
Both test sessions were mailed to W5YI VEC today and should be in the FCC database in a week or two-- barring any unforeseen events. Look for your new call or upgraded call on QRZ.com (search under FCC downloads) or FCC ULS website http://wireless2.fcc.gov/UlsApp/UlsSearch/searchLicense.jsp to search for your license. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is the US government agency that regulates, grants radio licenses and enforces the rules of the Amateur Radio Service and other radio services. Once you receive or know your call you may use your privileges i.e. radio. General class licensees may get on the air immediately with appending your callsign with /AG (CW) or 'Temporary AG' (voice).
