[SMCARA] New Website

All,

After some discussion with Pete, I have volunteered to take over the
website and give Pete one less thing to worry about. Pete has done a great
job keeping the site current and available for over 15 years. I am
very appreciative for the many years of service Pete has provided us and
now I will step and take the reins for the website development and give him
a break.

I have registered the k3nhk.org domain name and I already had a hosting
account with godaddy.com just sitting there doing nothing so I have decided
to donate that space to the club. Disk space is unlimited and bandwidth is
unlimited so send me your photos and a brief write up and we will get it
posted.

The old site www.qsl.net/smcara will soon be pointing to the new site and
that account with the email reflector will remain open and in place.

The new site http://www.k3nhk.org is up and operational. I have created a
posting call "Website Feedback" that will accept comments from anyone. If
you have any suggestions for the site please reply to that posting.

Once we have everything the way we want it structure wise I would like to
train a individual or two to help manage the content. The site is based in
WordPress which is a Content Management Solution and is very easy to
learn.
