I don't have a dog in this fight, but this is a good opportunity to join the fun on APRS. It has built in GPS, so all you have to do is turn it on, connect your 2M antenna, and you are APRSing! Go to APRS.fi on the internet and search on W4OKW-7 and you will see my D72 in action last week. Make him an offer. Oh, yeah, it is also a dual band, scanning, etc HT.
