[SMCARA] IC-7000 Owner Question

I have been considering getting an IC-7000 within the next couple weeks and
being a Yaesu guy to date I don't have a clue about ICOM radios. I am
looking for some guidance about the following items:

1) What is required to get the IC-7000 connected to Ham Radio Deluxe?

2) What is the video out port used for? Does it output what is displayed on
the main faceplate?
(this could be cool for a classroom setting)

3) Does anyone have any experience with the LDG IT-100 Autotuner
specifically is it dual control a) controlled by tune button on radio b)
controlled by button on front of tuner?
