Well, Budd W3FF and the boys are back on St Lucia operating from the
Chateau Deveaux again. They are field testing some new Buddie Yagis for
17 and 12/10 meters. The patio sits right on the edge of a 287 foot
cliff facing right up the East Coast grazing Martinique on the way.

Look for them on 17 around 18150 (J6/AA4W seems to like this freq and
is QRP), which has been best for me at midday. I also worked them on 10
and 20 and heard them weakly on 12. They also are on 160 with a full
size dipole, so look for them. Check the spots.

Tonight might be a little slow as they are hosting a BBQ for 14 of the
local hams. I imagine things won't slow down much, especially after a
few "Pitons" (local beer) and Chairman's Reserve rum and coke/tonic! The
owner of the Chairman's Reserve distillery owns the chateau - nice bit
of luck there!
