[SMCARA] Calvert Marine Museum Day today

To all those that replied, I know who he is.  He gave my XYL is business
card.
I just thought he might be a member of the SMCARA message board, and wanted
to give him a BZ.  Kids had a great time with him.

Although, I don't think he is a WWII veteran, unless he was underage when he
joined (which was not uncommon).

John is a great guy - he's also involved with the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). He
has (as long as I've been around) shown up at our field-day site and
supervised a team of CAP cadets in erecting an antenna and operating a radio
to support CAP flights. And yes, he has his knots displayed and he will
patiently teach the kids (and adults) how to tie each one.

I remember John Johnson from when I was in the Coast Guard at St. Inigoes
1980-1985.  I'm glad to hear he's still auxiliarating!
