Hi Everyone,

No word from the County about support.

Last August we were asked to provide communications support for three Firehouses in the County. Valley Lee VFD, Rigid VFD and Avenue VFD plus the two EOC radio rooms. We manned two fire houses and both EOC radio rooms with seven or eight people for a little over 24 hours. 

It is possible that the County might request the same support this year.

In a perfect world, support would be in place before the weather prevents safe passage to your assignment.

The above support would require three people on site at each location.  Each person should have  equipment, clothes and meds for three days.

It would require 15 people and gear for up to three days.

Hams that are closest to the locations above are the best candidates.

If you are at the EOC, no extra radio gear required, maybe an ht.

Firehouse, a 50 watt radio with power supply and mobile antenna should work.
