[SMCARA] Correction / Clarification on the SMCARA HAMFEST date

Sorry for any confusion.

The SMCARA HAMFEST is October 25th - which is a THURSDAY and -not- a
Wednesday as indicated below.

So to summarize, delete the word Wednesday from the below e-mail - and
replace it with Thursday.

Greetings and salutations.

As someone is fond of saying, here is more SPAM in your inbox.

As you are probably already aware, our next club meeting is Thursday,
October 25th at the Aircraft Museum.

What you may not be aware of is we are holding a miniature HAMFEST and BBQ
in lieu of our normal meeting.

Here are the details:

  What:  SMCARA mini-HAMFEST and BBQ

  When:  Wednesday, 25 October 2012 at 1800. (Did you notice the time was
different than normal club meetings?)

  Where: Patuxent River Naval Air Museum, Lexington Park, Maryland

         (Located just north of the Pegg Road & Route 235 intersection by
gate one)

         Talk-in on the 146.64 MHz repeater

WHO:	Why YOU of course.  Yes, you. Bring your Junque and extoll its
virtues.  NOW is the time to dig through your old boxes and prepare your
treasures for display. Amateurs from other locations and or clubs are
encouraged to attend. Please feel free to pass this on to them.

  Details:

         HAMFEST begins ~ 1800 and runs to 20:00 (or when we are done)

         We will be grilling free hot dogs and burgers for club members
during the HAMFEST.  Can someone bring a grill?  If you can bring one,
please call Pete Butt (WA3UMY) at 301-904-8401 (cell).

         As before, we plan to set up tables just inside the roll up garage
door.  Electricity will be available if you wish to demonstrate your
equipment powered up. Bring your own extension cords.

         There is no fee for selling, trading or swapping your gear, just
come and have a good time.

         Please help clean up after the event as the museum must be left in
the same condition as we found it.  Also, you MUST take everything out that
you brought in, no junque left behind.  Thanks!
