I have struck out twice on finding alternate locations for the Pot Luck
Christmas Dinner for the 8th of December. Has anyone considered asking

church's Christmas party and I will be there helping with setup and take
down.

Who is the POC for this gathering?  So far most of the principals have
other plans for the 15th. A hazard of changing plans during the holiday
rush, I suppose.

We probably should get a head count to see if it is still a go.

Unfortunately Kae and I have $100 tickets to Cirque du Soleil in DC -
guess
which one gets on the calendar at W4OKW?

The Museum key has been left with Mari 11/21/12. She is holding it for

SMCARA club designated sponsor. The sponsor will assure the securing  of
the Museum on December 15 after the potluck dinner. The sponsor should
check with Mari for a briefing on the lock up procedure if not familiar
with it.

I would recommend that the date of the 15th of December be secured
immediately as the calender of events of all of us fills up this Holiday
season..
Janet and I will be attending a grand daughters' graduation that
weekend
so will not be available. I can transfer my key to Mari so that a

There was another event scheduled on the 8th.  There was a possibility
that
they would be out before we needed the room, but no guarantee.  The 8th
is
also the day of the Army/Navy game (dare I say, GO ARMY) and I thought
some
people might like to watch the game.  The 15th was wide open.

Tammy and I will be on a cruise both of those weekends, so it really
doesn't
matter to us.  If you'd like to take over the planning of this, you are
more
than welcome to it.

I have been asking the same question However my Radio exam session is on
the
8 December @ 10 AM at the Pax Museum. In years past the potluck dinner
ususaly was the 2nd Saturday in December which this year is the 8th.

Will the Museum be available for 6- 8PM on Saturday, December 8, 2012?

Meats
Turkey
Chicken
Ham
BBQ

Soups
Chicken Noodle
Lots of Chilli

Vegies
Cassoroles
Green Bean

Chips/Salsa
Sodas/Drinks
Salads/vegie trays
Deserts
Hungry appetite

Plates/Cups/Utensils

This is not official but a start....but we could show up in the parking
lot
at the Pax museum anyway and have a cold Christmas tailgate. Who knows,
it
might snow and we could be the first white Christmas tailgate.
