If you are like me, you'll do everything in your power to stay away from shopping and off the road. So, as long as you're stuck at home anyways . . .

This weekend brings one of the biggest contests of the year - the CQ Worldwide DX (CW) contest www.cqww.com  

In this contest you can, quite literally work DXCC in a single weekend. 

The contest exchange is a signal report followed by your CQ Zone (we're in Zone 5) - so you would send 5NN05. 

The contest starts (local time) at 7:00 PM on Friday and goes to 6:59 PM on Sunday. (0000Z Saturday 11/24 to 2359Z 11/25)

An easy to use logging program to keep track of everything and do dupe checks is GenLog, which can be found at www.qsl.net/wrkm/gen_log.htm

A more intricate and difficult to use (but still free) logger is N1MM, which provides for CAT control, spotting via Telnet, and many other features, and is available at n1mm.hamdocs.com/
