[SMCARA] Wouxun KG-699E radio programming

Folks,

  Those of you who received a new Wouxun KG-699E hand-held radio as a gift
for graduating from a ham class and haven't yet gotten them on the
air... this is for you.

  Bring your charged radio to the next SMCARA club meeting on Thursday, 24
May 2012 and let's get them all programmed up!  I will be at the meeting
with my laptop, correct software and a programming cable and would be
delighted to get you all set up.  I have a standard programming setup
all ready to go that will get you on the air in less than 1 minute that
gives you access to all of the local 2-meter repeaters and some simplex
frequencies to boot.  If you wish to have a modified frequency load, we
can take care of that too but you will have to tell me what frequencies
you want to add.

  If you know someone who has one of these radios that hasn't yet got it
on the air, please have them come to the meeting next week and let's get
them "on the air"!
