 All, here is a reminder of the upcoming exam session Saturday May 12, 10 AM. This session will be at the JF Taylor Confeence Center right next to the Naval Air Museum. I am expecting a big turn out since most of the Dan KB3UUN Technician's class will be taking the Tech exam so  VE's let me know if you can make it.

!!!!!!!I would like applicants to preregister with me and RSVP!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for those who have already preregistered. Email me at n3uh at usa.com for a NVEC605 pdf and a questionnaire.Note:  The NVEC605 is not an FCC form but is used by the Volunteer Examiner Coordinators for processing FCC Amateur Licenses. The old FCC form 610 was the 1 page form that was used for the amateur service. Since then the FCC introduced the 605 in their paperwork streamlining process. The FCC 605 is now about 4 pages--thus the 1 page NVEC605 was created.

What to bring: 
Exam session fee $14 
Bring copy of license (if any) Note: an extra copy of the your license 
speeds up the examination session processing.. 
Filled out NVEC Form 605 if you have it. I can provide an electronic 
copy of the form if needed. 
2 forms of ID 
Certificate of Successful Completion (CSCE) from qualified VEC (ARRL, 
W5YI) 
etc... (if any) 
Other element credit i.e. pre March 21, 1987 Technician License for General class element 3 credit (if any) 
Pen/pencil, scratch paper. 
Simple calculator. 
Test is Closed book, Closed mouth, Closed notes, Closed neighbor, Closed Blackberry, Iphone, Droid.
