[SMCARA] Reissue - For Sale: last call - Tri-bander KLM KT-34XA

Folks;

Dwayne determined that he can’t use the beam, so it is back on the FOR SALE list. One correction is that the boom is in 8’ sections, and the elements are ~12’ long but are secured w/ the boom sections and ready for moving.

Dan,

I’m thinking of putting up a club station in Calvert and have 150 foot tower to put this on. I’ll take it if you can deliver it (for extra fee, of course).

Dwayne…..

Last opportunity before it goes to Timonium hamfest on 31 March:

Why pay $1349 for the 4 element KT34M2 (w/ shorter boom) or $1849 for the KT36XA (see Texas Towers ad in April QST) – true, both are improved models strength-wise but this beam has survived our MD winters & hi-winds for 10 years. I believe the M2 update kit to make the KT-34XA into a KT36XA only runs $200 – Google it & read the reports.

This KT-34XA 20-15-10 meter beam is available for $250. It was in use until removed from my tower & is on the ground in ~8’ sections – easily fits on a car or van roof rack.
At this price, consider storing it until you can put up a tower (or whatever…….).
Specs:

Boom length:  32'

15 m.:  9 - 9.5 dBd          5 elements
10 m. : 11 - 11.3 dBd      6 element
