[SMCARA] Loaner Radios (was N4PGG Icom 706)

The club has available for loaners:

Icom 725 (courtesy of LDG Electronics)- currently on loan to Stacey KB3YSR
Icom 735 (from MARS)- available
Kenwood TS-520S (from Gordon KA3COO SK)-available* 

*Does anyone know where the TS-520 is?  It was stored at the museum until the new director went through the warehouse like Sherman's march through Georgia and got rid of a lot of stuff. Hope it didn't go the dumpster route!

David-  let me try to get you a radio this weekend.  Will your antenna be ready, or do you need help with that?

Grant-  I will try to coordinate something this weekend with you and David.

Maybe this idea will catch on and we'll have a bunch of new people on the air.  Anyone else interested in loaning or borrowing a radio?

I was thinking about the same idea last week.  I know that there are several
radios around that people have lent to new hams.  Allen and I would be
willing to help new hams build an antenna to go with the loaner radio(s).

Any one else interested in loaning a radio to a new ham?

Any new hams out there that would like to get on HF and try it out, with
some help and loaned equipment?

Since you aren't using my ICOM (except on Field Day), I was thinking of
providing the rig to the club as a loaner for the new hams.  
Whaddya think? 
It's a good rig and fun to use.  
New hams would get a kick out of useing it.
