Wow – this is coming up fast.  Only 7 days, one short week to go...

For people bringing radios to Field Day, take some time today to turn them on and put them on the air.  Make sure you have all the cables and adapters and that your microphone still works.  

The forecast for next weekend is saying 84 degrees with a 60% chance of Isolated Thunderstorms.  Don’t get too worried yet, weather forecasts this far out are notoriously wrong.  Keep going forward with the current plans.

Speaking of plans...

Saturday: 
10:00 AM – Start setting up.
2:00 PM – Start Operating – 10, 15, 20 Meters – GOTA station on 40M
6:00 PM – Pot-Luck Dinner
8:34 PM – Sunset – 10 Meter Ops move to 40M – GOTA off the air (available for normal ops)
10:00 PM – 15 Meter ops move to 80 M
Sunday: 
6:00 AM – 80 Meter ops move to 15 M
Note – historically we usually shut down and pack up around 9 AM, but if there is interest and support we can continue
9:00 AM – 40 Meter ops move to 10 M – GOTA back on the air (40 M)
2:00 PM – Operations conclude
2:00 – 4:00 PM – Tear down, pack-up, go home....
