Remember just a week and a half ago – we were operating field day and our report was 3A – 3 meaning that we had 3 transmitters on the air.

You may not remember the call W3AO – but if you worked them, you certainly remember their report – 27A...  That is 9 bands (160, 80, 40, 20, 15, 10, 6, 2, & 1.25), 3 modes (SSB, Digital, CW), running the full time allowed...  

They also had a satellite station and a GOTA station.
