Good morning everybody!
I am already in Richmond waiting for the great Frost Fest. I am here with the family as we are actually on our way to Arlington, Texas. I wanted to get to the last club meeting but I just couldn't make it. It was quite a job getting everything done for the move. So, I am glad I'll get a chance to see some of you at Frost Fest, as it may be my last chance to see any of you guys. Since I do have family in Maryland, I'm sure I'll be back for visits -- maybe I can catch another field day or something. If possible, I would like to stay on this reflector so I can keep in touch. I'll let you know how I'm coming along on my latest projects. I've already looked up the Ham Radio club in Arlington and hope to become an active member there. As I told Ray not too long ago, I had successfully exhanged emails via HF, and I plan to continue exploring that and emergency communications. I will likely get setup in Arlington with ARES.
Thanks for the help in advancing my skills and getting me on the air. I will continue doing digital mode and maybe even expand beyond 20m. I will be looking at getting a new antenna when I start setting up my station in Arlington. I'll have less outdoor space to work with, so I'll have some new challenges. It has been great meeting all of you! You are a First-Class group of Hams!
