[SMCARA] Upcoming Tech Class

Hello All,

I just received approval to use the J.F. Taylor Inc Conference Center
next to the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum starting January 19th and
every Saturday through March 2nd. Each class will run from 9am - 12pm
and the fee is the cost of the book which is $25.00. I would like to
keep the class size to 15 students maximum. Please let those who may
be interested know to contact me ASAP as it will be first come first
serve.

LDG Electronics has once again sweetened the pot by offering free 2m
Hand Helds for those that pass their exam. Many thanks to LDG
Electronics!!

If those who you know are interested in becoming a ham can not attend
this class, We are looking into running two more during the spring
time and as those are finalized I will pass that information on.

If you can assist with the class please let me know as help is always
welcome and having guest instructors last year was very successful!

For those looking for a General Upgrade Class we are developing the
teaching materials to teach from and should be scheduling one around
Field Day or sooner if we can get the slides done sooner. I say we as
I am assembling a pool of instructors and we are fine tuning the
instruction material so to have a standard as to what is taught in the
classes. If again you are interested in helping develop the class
Instruction material in any function please let me know.
