[SMCARA] Electronic doorbell?

My old doorbell played over 80 sounds.  But starting going on the fritz.
Tried to troubleshoot according to the manual, but the problem is somehow
with the internal circuits.  
I have now replaced the old doorbell, but still have it.  
Anyone want to take a crack at trouble shooting it?  I still have it and the
manual.  

If you find the problem, it's yours.. or you can return it and I'll put it
back up.
