The original cost for this radio and accessories was well over $1500.  I am
the original owner and builder, except for the antenna tuner and 160 M
module, and have primarily used it as an IF for V/UHF operations.  This
radio has never been operated mobile and is from a non-smoking environment.


The 160 M and Antenna tuner were purchased used and removed working from a
K2 set up for specialized applications.

The digital interface is a perfect match for this radio for use with WSJT or
other digital modes.  It works great on 20m using JT65.  The transformer
interface makes ground loops a thing of the past and even using very high
power on 2m (>1KW) I have had no problems with RF getting into things.  The
only reason that I am selling the radio is that I bought a K3 and this has
to be sold to partially finance it.
