Tom,

6-Meters is VHF and would be considered a freebie...

Sounds good to me. 20 is the "money" band so we want a good rig (anyone
got a K-3 to bring? Hi!) and the big RF squirter. If we keep 20 always
manned, the other 2 stations can shift bands as conditions wax and wane.

Someone mentioned that VHF is a "freebie", does that include 6M?

The six meter beam we previously had at W3PQT, the olde Quonset hut,
seems to have moved on. I will bring a PAR loop for 6.

If I can get it interfaced with my laptop, I will run WSPR. This will
be 37 dbm (less than 5 watts) from my 817 to a Buddipole. I can set it
up far away from the beam and it won't be heard. Fun to look at
propagation and watch the band swing from N-S early to long E-W as the
day goes on. I'll run it as a demo using another callsign.

Dan, I have at least five runs of coax in the 60-100 foot range that
will be in the truck. Usually more is better!

Dan,

Since 20 M is going to be the most active band during FD, I recommend it
be assigned to one of the regular stations and that it use the beam.

I'd like 40 M and will cut an ugly balun (hereafter referred to as the
bugly) to support it.

What do you think?

All,

For those bringing radios I have not heard any more requests for bands
so please if there is a band you would like to operate on please let me
know but for now just to have something down I have made the suggestions
listed below. Please review the information below and please reply if I
have missed anything. I still have to revise the layout of the antennas
when I finish that I will forward along for review.

* Tom's (AB3IC) TS-50 to be used for the Get On The Air Rig
(*Assigned

*         Ren's (W3BNY) Generator as primary

*         Pete's (WA3UMY) Generator(s) as backup w/ cords

**I have made the assumption that any one bringing their radio is also
bringing a power supply for the radio. If this is an incorrect
assumption please let me know.*

* *

*Mast(s)*

   - Tom's (W4OKW) Military Mast (used last year as well)**

*FeedLine / Filters*

   - Tom (W4OKW) bringing (2) 100Ft sections of RG-213**

*Needs*

* 150+ ft section of feedline

                It was mentioned that Ray (KB3FWW) was providing the
