[SMCARA] General Upgrade Class Interest

Hi All,

I’ve set up the General Upgrade class.  It will happen from August 2nd to September 13th.  Meetings will be from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday evenings.  The first class will be at the Leonardtown Library and the remaining classes will be at either the Leonardtown or the Lexington Park libraries.  

Cost for the class will be $25 and includes the ARRL Study guide (a $29.95 value).  If a couple wants to take the class and share a book, the cost for the 2nd person will be $5.00.

Pre-requisite for the class is an active Tech License.  This class will not be advertised in newspapers or on the radio, but I’ll be letting some of the closer clubs know about it so they can get it out to their membership.

I need to know how many books to order, so if you are interested, please reply to this e-mail.

I’d like to get some other people involved in these classes.  If you are interested in teaching and can make the commitment, let me know and we’ll figure out a way to get you involved.  Ideally I’d like to have continuing Tech and Upgrade classes, but just can’t do it all by myself.
