I know you all were sick of hearing me talk about the 2M EME array I was
putting up here in WV, but it has come to fruition finally.  The 21st I was
able to work OZ1HNE off the moon on CW by answering his random CQ.  He was
S2 here in Points with his 8 Yagis and an 8877.  I heard him calling when I
turned up the receiver which had been warming up for a sched with Jorgen
later in the morning.  Total contact took less than 10 minutes and we were
able to chat a bit at the end.  Shortly after that, I went up to the JT-65
band and worked OE3FVU, DL9MS, and DK3WG in short order. I was able to hear
my own echos easily every time I tried. What a kick!

That makes 7 countries and 2 states with these antennas and amp.  I still
need to mod the driver so I can run the pair of 3cx800P5s to full legal
power - I am about 3 dB down right now.

I think the thing works!

432 array is in the works this winter - 8 x 19 elements and a pair of 8874s
at about 1200 W out.
