[SMCARA] Technician Class Dates/Times

Hi All,

I finally nailed down the dates and times for the Upcoming Technician Class and wanted to let everyone know so you can start passing the word.

I’m putting together a full-up syllabus for the class and some flyers for everyone to distribute, but this is a start.

The class will be held at the PAX Naval Air Museum, just outside Gate 1.  http://paxmuseum.com/

May  5 – Thursday  – 7:00 to 9:00 PM (Introduction, Hand out books, take class fee, demo using Club station, pass-out first week’s homework assignment)

May 14 – Saturday – After testing – Noon to 3:00

May 21 – Saturday – 10:00 to 1:00 pm

May 28 – Saturday – 10:00 to 1:00 pm

June 4 – Saturday – 10:00 to 1:00 pm

June 11 – Saturday – Test session – 10:00 AM




The fee for the class will be $25 with a book, or $5.00 without one – The ARRL Tech Study Guide (a $30 value) will be mandatory for this class, but couples/families may want to share – or someone may already have the book.  So, an individual taking the class will be $25, a couple or family taking the class will be $25 for the first person and $5.00 for each additional person (unless everyone wants a book, then the individual rate applies).  The fees will be paid to the club (not me) and will defray the cost of the book and additional expenses that might be incurred.
