[SMCARA] Reserve the date...SMCARA mini-hamfest & meeting

Folks,

  We finally got all the coordination and paperwork completed with the
museum staff for the upcoming swapfest.  So here is the latest:

  Save the date for the upcoming swapfest at the museum.  Due to some
scheduling complications, we are moving the normal SMCARA meeting date
for October to WEDNESDAY, 27 OCTOBER 2010 at the Naval Air Museum.  This
is one day earlier than the normal club meeting night.

  The swapfest will commence at 6 PM and will continue until approximately
8:30 PM.  Tables will be provided in the main hall by the large garage
door.  You can back up to the door area and unload if you wish.

  There is no charge for this swapfest... just show up and sell your
stuff.  Special note...we had to put down a $100 deposit to ensure that
the spaces are returned to the exact same condition they were when we
started so NO ONE IS PERMITTED TO LEAVE ANYTHING AT THE MUSEUM AT THE
CONCLUSION OF THE EVENT.

  More information will be forthcoming shortly.  We will also be having a
cookout at the same time (hot dogs, burgers, etc.) so be prepared to
come sell or trade your ham radio items and get some eats at the same
time.
