This weekend brings us the SSB portion of the November Sweepstakes.
This is one of my favorite contests. Briefly, work as many US and Canadian stations as you can on 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meter bands. Each contact is worth 2 points and each station may be worked once, regardless band.
Multiply your total contact points by the number of ARRL sections worked.
Begins 2100 UTC Saturday (November 20th, 4:00 PM ET) and runs through 0259 UTC Monday (9:59 PM ET Sunday, November 22nd).
If this is something that you might be interested in, shoot me an e-mail at GL1800Winger at verizon.net and I'll send you the complete contest rules (including exchange information), paper logs and summary sheets.
At the conclusion of the test I'll be happy to help you submit your electronic log in the required format.
Full contest info can be found here: http://www.arrl.org/sweepstakes
A good FREE contest logging program can be found here: http://www.qsl.net/w3km/gen_log.htm
I'm available on my cell should you want to discuss this - (240) 434-3811
For the CW contest, I worked 215 contacts and 66 ARRL sections in about 20 hours of operating. That's a claimed score of 28,380 points.
Power was 100 Watts, Single-Op, Unassisted (meaning no spotting networks)
