[SMCARA] Hi, my name is Earl

I am currently spinning around at 110mph and heading WNW for the East Coast
at 14mph. I could go to the right and it will be ok, or I could go to the
left slightly and head straight up the bay and make your labor day weekend a mess. I haven't decided
yet.
NOW is a good time to not only put this website in your favorites
http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ but to also familiarize yourself and your family
about what you are going to do if this guy shifts course and runs up the
bay! 2AM Friday morning IS NOT the time to wonder about what you are going
to do to protect yourself and your family. Here is a good start to review
preparedness information.

There should also be a quick net or meetup on the 64 maybe tonight to start discussing net procedures if this thing turns to the left. I went thru the last one and we need net control ops to make it thru the event. So lets talk about this now instead of Thursday night.
Anyhow, call me over-reacting but better to be ready/have a plan and Earl goes to sea than it sliding up the bay and we dont have a clue.
Keep up with the NOAA site, review your preparedness information and think about a comm plan.
Have a good week and be safe!
