All,

Thanks for the very quick responses. A special thanks to Larry for
hooking up the test equipment to help me find the broken conductor in
the mag mount. After a little soldering all is well. 

KG3BOZ I am not sure how we even hooked up on the 195 repeater. The
radio must have been using the coax as the antenna.
