[SMCARA] Amateur Antennas & Homes Close to Pax

Hey Everybody,

I've started looking at (single/detached) homes and want to be capable 
of putting up a tower or two (or more, lot permitting).  What is the 
picture like around here?

While prempts local government outright banning towers, it does not 
preempt HOAs or CC&Rs.  So, what are the general experiences and where 
are the antenna friendly locations?  Are there some HOAs or 
neighborhoods that wouldn't have a bone to pick with antennas/towers? 
Any issues with proximity to the base in getting FAA/FCC clearance for 
over-terrain-slope towers?
